Where The Wild Things Are

I'm getting ready for an upcoming round of library shows featuring "Where the Wild Things Are", and several other children's books.  I'm so excited!  If you can come, it will be a ton of fun!!

Boat Show

The whole time I was working on these I kept singing, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.  What do we do?  We swim, swim, swim."  (In case you missed it, that was a reference to "Finding Nemo".)

From what my customers told me, these columns were the talk of the boat show.  People couldn't get over the divers and the two octopuses...octopi...(shoot, I don't know).  Anyway, these were fun!

With Spring coming right around the corner, my thoughts have turned to nice sweet treats!  (Ok, it doesn't really matter what time of year it is.  I'm always in the mood for ice cream!)

I love Christmas!  I always wait until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas, but Christmas just thrills me!  So...watch out for the upcoming Christmas decorations!

Sea Life - Which is your favorite?

I helped with a fellow balloon artist do a meeting for the Savannah Trade and Leadership Council.  The theme was marine life.  I did these centerpieces.  Which one do you like best?  My favorite is....

Ooops!

I made these glorious little parcels for a contest a major balloon company is running.  Well, I didn't make a high enough percentage of the signature color.  I was supposed to use at least 75% of the color.  I TRULY thought I had.  After I received their e-mail telling me that I hadn't used enough of the color, I wanted to contradict them.  I actually calculated out precisely how many balloons I used of each color for each creation.  Know what I found out?  They were right.  Now, after creating these great little things, I am out of the signature color, and I don't have quite enough time to order more.  So I've decided to go ahead and share them with the world.  I hope you love them.  I've had a ton of fun creating them!

Gray:  6

Pink:  4

Silver:  2

Light Brown:  29

Bit of Bling

My daughter and I had fun creating these scrunchy bracelets out of scrap balloons the other day.  They are super cute!  We had a great time.

Up!

My daughter and I have completed a 5K Bridge Run here in Savannah for the past 3 years.  There is a costume contest each year.  In 2009, we decided to be the characters from the movie UP!  I twisted a balloon house.  We had a ton of fun!!  We actually took first place that year!  Happy day!
